About the Role

Our client, a well-established asset-based finance provider with a significant footprint in the transport, mining, and construction industries, is seeking a Business Development Officer to join their Pretoria-based team. As a self-starter and motivated individual, they pride themselves on offering tailored financial solutions that empower businesses to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development plan to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Identify potential clients and establish relationships with them to understand their financial needs.
  • Promote financial products and services to potential clients and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to maintain relationships with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients receive a seamless experience.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Background in the Commercial Finance industry is highly beneficial.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and client relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
