About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Co-operative Business Manager to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, budgeting, and target achievement, with a strong background in co-operative purchasing or sales to co-operatives. A background in chemical products is essential, with experience in agricultural, industrial, or garden chemicals.

Key Responsibilities

Manage sales teams and build relationships with head offices, regional managers, and branch managers
Analyse and report on performance, profitability, and business risks
Develop and implement pricing strategies and margin management plans
Coordinate promotions and manage budgets to achieve targets

Requirements

Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Junior Manager or Senior Sales Representative with management responsibility
Proven experience in sales, budgeting, and target achievement
Demonstrated people management and team coordination experience
Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders
Ability to analyse and report on performance, profitability, and business risks

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field (practical experience and industry knowledge will be given greater weight than formal qualifications alone)
