About the Role
Virago Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Conveyancer with expertise in Estate matters and Commercial Bond transactions to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be admitted as a Conveyancer and Attorney in South Africa, with at least five years of post-admission experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of property conveyancing, including transfers, bond registrations, and cancellations.
- Independently attend to Estate matters, including deceased estates property transfers and related administration.
- Handle Commercial Bond matters, liaising with banks, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate successful registration and compliance.
- Provide expert legal advice in property and estate transactions, ensuring all procedures meet relevant legal standards and client expectations.
- Draft and review property-related agreements and estate documentation.
- Build and maintain solid professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ensure meticulous compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and maintain comprehensive administrative records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years post admission experience as an Attorney and Conveyancer.
- Admitted as a Conveyancer and Attorney in South Africa.
- Solid experience in Estate matters, including transfers of deceased estates.
- Strong proficiency in Commercial Bond matters and related documentation.
- Superior organizational and multitasking skills; able to manage several matters simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independent decision-making.
