About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Baggage Porter to join our team in Pretoria North, where you will play a key role in ensuring our guests feel at home. As a Baggage Porter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring that all aspects of their stay meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting guests at the entrance to the hotel
- Assisting with the offloading and carrying of baggage from the car to the check-in counter
- Showing guests to their rooms after check-in and demonstrating how to use all the utilities in the rooms
- Checking that all utilities in the rooms are functioning correctly
- Reporting any faulty utilities or equipment to maintenance for repair
- Arranging taxis or other transport for guests
- Running errands for guests within the hotel
Requirements
High school diploma
Willingness to assist with tasks outside of the job description
Attention to detail
Courteous and well-mannered
Ability to work and communicate effectively with others
