About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled Pre-Sales Consultant to join their team in Pretoria, GP. With a strong background in Data Analytics and software solutions, specifically in On-Prem and Cloud Environments, this role requires an individual with excellent technical knowledge, outstanding communication skills, and a deep understanding of customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of our analytics and software solutions, with a particular focus on Bluechip IP (Intellectual Property) Products
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for prospective clients, showcasing the features, functionalities, and benefits of our solutions.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and tailor demonstrations to address specific needs.
Act as a technical advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on how our solutions can address their business challenges effectively.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotes, and RFP/RFI responses in collaboration with the sales team.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay updated on industry trends and identify new opportunities for business development.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development and marketing, to provide feedback from clients and contribute to solution enhancements.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in analytics, software, and application services to continuously improve knowledge and expertise.
Use knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively manage customer objections to Bluechip Technologies offerings.
Build relationships with the sales team, partners, and customers in support of sales team objectives.
Assist sales team to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies, produce account specific product and service and sales plans.
Present and market the design and value of proposed Bluechip Technologies offerings and business case to customers, prospects and Bluechip Technologies management.
Qualify sales opportunities based on customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
Conduct technical training for the sales team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT (Virtualization, Cloud, Enterprise Applications, Databases, Software Development Processes, Big Data and Analytics).
Proven experience (Minimum 5 years) in a pre-sale role, specifically focused on analytics and software solutions.
