Job Summary
Hire Resolve has partnered with a company based in Pretoria, which is looking for a Professional Accountant (SA) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accounting and tax-related duties; managing an accounting portfolio; and providing insight, supervision (where applicable), and review of the portfolios month to month.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-budget completion of field work, adhering to policies
- Provide technical training and support to team members
- Create client reports and manage accounting budgets
- Monitor budget performance and evaluate against targets
- Review tax returns and allocate work on engagements
- Maintain strong client relations and oversee CIPC administration
- Meet set targets and communicate monthly plans
Requirements:
- SAIPA / AGA(SA)A qualification
- 3+ years’ relevant experience (including articles)
- Proficient in IFRS for SMEs, IFRS, and taxation
- Strong admin and project management skills
- Proactive, leadership-oriented team player
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Effective planner with adherence to values
Benefits:
- Salary: R360K/yr, salary negotiable
