About the Role
We are seeking a female Catering Manager to join our team at a small private Primary School in Pretoria suburbs, where you will be responsible for managing our catering operations. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that our food and beverage services meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 5 people to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of hygiene and controls.
- Ensure consistent product and service quality through hands-on working with the team.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required by the school administration.
- Collaborate with the school administration to develop and implement menus that meet the school’s nutritional requirements.
- Conduct regular inventory management and ordering to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
Requirements
- Matric qualification
- Relevant food and beverage qualification (e.g. Food Safety and Hygiene, Hospitality Management)
- Minimum 4 years experience in a Catering Management role within industrial catering
- Previous experience managing a team of 5 people or more
- Strong management skills and excellent at controls and consistent hygiene standard management
