About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our commercial solar turnkey projects in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing high-pressure site environments and multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers
- Ensure construction activities align with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
- Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Clients, and Consultants
- Monitor progress, resolve site issues, and report on project milestones
- Manage site documentation, inspections, snag lists, and final handover
- Ensure installations comply with contractual, statutory, and technical requirements
Requirements
- Minimum NQF Level 6 qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager on commercial projects
- Solar/renewable energy project experience essential (commercial scale)
- Strong knowledge of turnkey construction environments
- Solid understanding of site safety regulations and compliance
