Our client, a leader in the commercial solar industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in Pretoria. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong experience in managing large-scale Solar PV projects (10MW and above; minimum 5MW). Role Overview: You will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of major renewable energy projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards. The position requires strong cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, and compliance with industry regulations and standards Minimum requirements: Relevant qualifications 5 years project management experience within the solar, engineering, construction, or EPC environment. Proven experience managing Solar PV projects of 10MW (minimum 5MW) Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, Solar PV systems, and BESS Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Willingness to travel to project sites as required Duties will include but is not limited to: Lead the planning and implementation of renewable energy projects from initiation to completion. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed. Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
