Job Summary

Sous Chef – Fine Dining French CuisineArea: Pretoria Salary: Market-related Brief descriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and be passionate about delivering exceptional cuisine while supporting Management in all aspects of kitchen management.Key Responsibilities:Support daily kitchen operations and maintain high culinary standardsOversee and assist Chef de Partie sections as neededContribute to menu planning and seasonal dish developmentTrain, schedule, and manage kitchen staffEnsure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulationsMonitor food costs and manage inventory to reduce wasteCollaborate with management and FOH team to ensure an outstanding guest experienceRequirements:Minimum 2 years in a kitchen management role or 5 years as a senior chefFine dining experience essential; French cuisine experience preferredStrong leadership and communication skillsCreative flair and attention to detailFinancial understanding and experience in cost controlCulinary qualification requiredOwn transport and based in *****@*****.co.za and follow Scholtz Partners International on social media for more open positions#Souschef #chef #Finedining #french #urgent
