About the Role
A leading Financial Services company based in Johannesburg is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial and client-focused Financial Advisor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial planning and advice to individual and corporate clients.
- Build and manage a sustainable book of business.
- Conduct client reviews, needs analysis, and provide tailored wealth solutions.
- Adhere to the company’s compliance and professional standards.
- Continuously stay up to date with industry regulations, trends, and company platforms.
- Participate in branch activities, training, and client events.
Requirements
- RE5 qualification (Compulsory)
- CFP designation (Certified Financial Planner) Advantageous
- Proven track record in financial advice or wealth management
- Strong understanding of investment products, estate planning, risk cover, and retirement solutions
- Ability to build and maintain a client base
- Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
- Compliance and regulatory awareness in financial services
- Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset

Salary & Benefits
- Working Model Options:
- Option 1: Income Ownership Model (50/30/20 Split)
- Revenue split: 50% Advisor / 30% Head Office / 20% Branch
- Full use of company’s infrastructure including office space, meeting facilities, administrative and compliance support, access to company platforms, investment tools, marketing/events, equity participation in company.
- Option 2: Financed Growth Model (Basic Salary + Client Book)
- Receive financing and a basic monthly income from Head Office
- Pre-allocated client book from Directors and Head Office
- Option to buy back your client book after a defined period
