About the Role
A local Platinum Mine around Rustenburg in the North West Province is looking for a skilled Shaft Timberman to join their team. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in vertical shaft environments and relevant certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of timber usage and extraction
- Ensure timely completion of timber operations on the shaft
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve production targets
Requirements
- Minimum experience of 1-3 years as a Banksman/Onsetter is essential.
- Working experience to a vertical shaft environment.
Qualifications
- Must be in possession of a valid Onsetter’s and Blasting Certificate.
