Rustenburg: TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST (TSS) posted by Network Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective regional sales strategies in alignment with the Regional Manager
• Analyse regional market trends and identify opportunities for business growth
• Monitor and manage overall regional sales performance
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key mining clients.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of mining plants, systems, and procurement processes
• Review client flowrelated applications or challenges and propose sustainable, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) driven solutions
• Conduct sales calls, technical demonstrations, presentations, and provide technical sales support
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decisionmakers
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure brand alignment and customer satisfaction
• Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to the Regional Manager
• Represent the company at regional industry events, trade shows, and conferences

Education

• Minimum Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and/or Science
• Mechanical or Instrumentation apprenticeship – advantageous
• Technical qualification such as N6 or National Diploma (Mechanical Engineering Technician) – advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 5 years’ proven experience as a Technical Sales Specialist
• Strong existing sales experience with mining clients in the Rustenburg area
• Extensive experience with flowrelated equipment and/or instrumentation
• Experience within the valve industry will be beneficial
• Ability to assess technical applications and provide longterm, valuedriven solutions
• Proven experience in handling sales calls, demonstrations, technical backup, and client presentations
• Strong CRM system knowledge and understanding of sales performance metrics
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinker with a resultsdriven approach
• High level of computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Willingness to travel within the region as required
• Must reside in the Rustenburg area (within 30–50 km of client sites)
