Supply Chain Specialist Fourways Sandton Johannesburg
Our FMCG client in Fourways Sandton Johannesburg is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist with 8 years solid experience. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain processes to ensure the efficient flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers.

Qualifications and criteria
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
8 years plus years of experience in supply chain management or a related field.
Knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
Knowledge of South African supply chain regulations and standards is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management – Oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
Data Analysis – Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Supplier Management – Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
Inventory Control – Monitor inventory levels, implement inventory management strategies, and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand without overstocking.
Logistics Coordination – Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods, including managing shipping schedules and routes.
Compliance and Risk Management – Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and assess risks within the supply chain to develop mitigation strategies.
