About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Manager/Engineer with strong expertise in FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading) operations to manage the full lifecycle of oil and gas processing on the FPSO from well extraction through processing, storage, and final offloading. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations while maintaining compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end FPSO process operations, from extraction, separation, gas treatment, water injection, and stabilization through to storage and offloading.
- Lead process design, optimization, and operational readiness during FEED, detailed engineering, commissioning, and steady-state production phases.
- Monitor and manage performance of topsides processing systems, utilities, and offloading systems to ensure production efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and international regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP, and process safety reviews to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Troubleshoot process issues, implement optimization strategies, and manage cost controls without compromising safety or quality.
- Liaise with stakeholders including operators, contractors, shipyards, classification societies, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to process engineers and operational staff.
- Deliver operational performance reports and updates to senior management and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering (Masters preferred).
- Professional Engineering (PE) or Chartered Engineer status advantageous.
- At least 5 years of Oil & Gas experience, with at least 5 years in FPSO process engineering/operations.
- In-depth knowledge of oil/gas separation, gas compression, produced water treatment, flare systems, storage, and offloading processes.
