We are seeking a professional with proven experience in maize milling, who is passionate about operational excellence and product quality.Core Duties & Responsibilities:Oversee, operate and manage production of maize meal Monitor and control mill performance, extraction rates, and throughput efficiencyPerform maintenance checks, coordinate machinery efficiency and manage downtime to minimize production lossConduct milling in compliance with ISO 22000 food safety standards by adhering strictly to hygiene, food safety, and housekeeping protocolsWork closely with production teams to meet daily targets and troubleshoot issuesTrain, guide, and mentor junior millers and shift staff as neededReport on production performance, output, and qualityManage and ensure a high performance culture in the production team by driving continuous improvement of production processesEnsure cost effective raw material management by understanding challenges, and optimizing the extraction in line with the product quality requiredRequirements:GMF-SAM Milling Qualification (Maize essential)Minimum 5 years hands-on milling experience on maize Food safety requirements (ISO 22000)In-depth knowledge of milling systems, production planning, and food safety complianceStrong mechanical/electrical aptitude and knowledge of mill settings and product specs.
