About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Spa & Wellness Director to lead our luxury hotel’s spa and wellness department, driving strategic vision, commercial operations, and holistic guest experience. As a key member of our leadership team, you will bridge high-level business strategy with daily operations, ensuring unparalleled standards of luxury, hygiene, and guest satisfaction while driving profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overarching business, marketing, and commercial strategies for the spa to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Manage department budgets, P&L (profit and loss) responsibilities, forecasting, and pricing strategies.
- Design high-margin wellness packages (e.g., corporate retreats, seasonal packages, and bridal offerings).
- Oversee day-to-day spa operations, including facility maintenance, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Continuously curate and innovate treatment menus and wellness programs aligned with market trends and the brand’s identity.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of therapists, aestheticians, fitness instructors, and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, manage shift schedules, and foster a culture of service excellence and continuous professional development.
- Oversee the entire guest journey from initial booking to post-treatment follow-up to guarantee a memorable experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant spa therapy or cosmetology qualifications.
- At least 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in luxury spa or wellness management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior director or executive leadership role.
