About the Role
Network Contracting is seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead our hotel’s maintenance and facilities department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime and reliability of all building services and hotel infrastructure, while driving energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives across the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the hotel’s maintenance and facilities department.
- Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of all building services and hotel infrastructure.
- Manage HVAC systems, electrical installations, generators, plumbing, refrigeration, fire systems, and other critical equipment.
- Plan and control maintenance budgets, expenses, and capital projects.
- Oversee external contractors and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
- Drive energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives across the property.
- Manage maintenance schedules, asset registers, and facility improvement projects.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to the maintenance team.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations.
Requirements
- Qualified Trade Tested Artisan (Electrician, Millwright, Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Refrigeration Technician, or similar).
- Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Engineering Degree essential.
- Minimum 5 years’ management experience within facilities, maintenance, engineering, or technical operations.
- Experience within the hospitality, hotel, manufacturing, FMCG, commercial property, or industrial sectors.
