Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Coordinates dismantling, moving and setting up
equipment at the new work site
– Ensure that welding is done according to customer
specifications and that all processes are recorded
– Ensures correct application of pre-heat and postweld
heat treatment as per the required contract
code
– Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise maintenance
team members and contractors
– Complete X-ray requests and challenge X-ray results
– Ensure adherence to the OHSAct in the area of
responsibility
– Offer supervision of all construction work

QUALIFICATIONS:

– Must possess relevant qualification
– Welding Supervision course certification
– Knowledge of Sasol procedures
– Must be able to read ISO drawings and welding
symbols
– At least 5 years of supervisory experience in the petrochemical industry
– Physically fit to work
– Valid driver’s license
– Must be able to communicate in English
