About the Role
Join a prestigious luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger Area, Mpumalanga as an Inventory Controller. This exciting hospitality opportunity offers the chance to manage and oversee multi-department inventory processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit-ready reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily stock movements across all departments with full SOP compliance
- Reconcile POS sales vs inventory depletion in high-risk areas (Bar, Gallery, Spa)
- Validate transfers, wastage, credits, and consumption discrepancies same-day
- Ensure purchasing requests align with budgets, PAR levels, and approved settings
- Supervise receiving, storage, and storeroom integrity (FIFO rotation, expiry control, audits)
- Lead cycle counts and month-end stock counts, investigating variances thoroughly
- Compile month-end reporting packs including balances, purchases, wastage, and variance reports
- Maintain master data accuracy, pricing compliance, and system integrity
- Enforce risk, compliance, and audit controls with complete digital trails
Requirements
- 2–4 years’ hospitality inventory or multi-department stock management experience
- Strong analytical and numerical ability
- Experience with MyStock / MyInventory / POS systems (TallOrder or similar)
- Ability to supervise Storeman & Administrator functions
- Solid understanding of hospitality operations (F&B, Housekeeping, Spa, Retail, OE’s)
