Senior Software Developer Bellville, Cape Town Requirements BSc (Computer Science) or Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development Excellent communication skills A solid understanding of microservice architecture and how web applications work Experience with the following technologies: TypeScript, React Adequate knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems Familiarity with the following technologies: Google Cloud, Python, BigQuery, Bash, Git, UML (advantageous) Key Responsibilities Design and development of new platform modules and features. Writing and debugging code. Break down features into tasks. System monitoring. Documenting new features and processes. Participate in agile practices. QA /Testing. Team management/mentorship of junior resources. Providing technical inputs to the Product Owner or Senior Management (planning, timelines, work breakdown etc.).
