Live Out Ready to grow your hospitality career in one of Cape Town’s most iconic seaside spots? This vibrant luxury outlet is looking for a warm, switched on Assistant Cafe Manager who loves the buzz of service, thrives in a guest centred environment and enjoys leading a polished, upbeat team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Restaurant Manager with daily operations across a 24 hour service cafe
- Overseeing In Room Dining, mini bars and poolside service
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences with charm, urgency and finesse
- Keeping service smooth, professional and consistent
- Helping drive sales, upselling and guest delight
- Training, coaching and uplifting your team
- Ensuring all standards, procedures and service expectations are met
- Maintaining top notch presentation, accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
- Hospitality related Diploma
- 4 years experience in a luxury 4 or 5 star restaurant or hotel
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong communication skills with solid English
- Confident using POS systems and stock management platforms
- Good understanding of restaurant financials
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Completed hospitality related Diploma
