About the Role

HotelJobs is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant to support the Utilities Manager across multiple buildings in Dainfern. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hands-on property environment, professionally representing landlord management when dealing with tenants, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct electricity and water meter readings across buildings
  • Capture and populate consumption data accurately
  • Assist in identifying irregular usage trends
  • Support generator and backup system monitoring
  • Assist with reporting to management
  • First point of contact for tenant utility-related queries
  • Draft professional correspondence to tenants
  • Communicate planned outages and maintenance schedules
  • Escalate sensitive matters appropriately
  • Assist with planned maintenance scheduling
  • Track breakdowns and response times
  • Follow up on outstanding repairs
  • Assist during emergency incidents (power failures, water leaks, etc.)
  • Track compliance certificates (electrical, service records, inspections)
  • Assist during audits and inspections
