About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head Chef to join our team at Craven Cottage CC. As a Brewery/Bistro Head Chef, you will be responsible for designing unique dishes and specials that pair well with our house-brewed beers. You will oversee all kitchen operations, quality control, sanitation, and staff scheduling, while also training, motivating, and managing your kitchen teams. If you have a passion for food pairing, a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing unique dishes and specials that pair well with house-brewed beers
- Overseeing all kitchen operations, quality control, sanitation, and staff scheduling
- Training, motivating, and managing kitchen teams
- Managing food purchasing, inventory, and budgets
- Handling marketing, POS systems, and analysing reports
Requirements
- High school Diploma
- Formal Culinary qualification will be an advantage
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in various kitchen positions, including a prior role as a Head Chef or an experienced Sous Chef
- Food safety and sanitation certificate
- Knowledge of the brewing process, different beer styles, and the ability to create food pairings that complement the beer offerings is a significant advantage
