About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Operator / Programmer to join our team, responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines such as milling and turning centres
  • Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Carry out quality checks using measuring tools such as verniers, micrometres, and gauges
  • Perform basic programming or programme adjustments where required
  • Ensure parts are produced to specification and quality standards
  • Maintain clean and safe working areas
  • Report production issues and assist with continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Qualified CNC Machinist or relevant trade qualification
  • Proven experience operating CNC milling and/or turning machines
  • Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or similar CNC controls advantageous
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and tolerances
  • Ability to work accurately and independently
  • Willingness to relocate
