About the Role
HotelJobs is partnering with an exclusive luxury safari group in Tanzania to recruit a visionary and commercially astute Country Director. This is an exciting executive opportunity for an accomplished hospitality leader to oversee multiple properties within the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple high-end properties within the group, ensuring operational excellence and brand integrity.
- Drive performance through strong General Managers and senior operational heads, delivering world-class guest experiences while maintaining rigorous compliance, risk management, and governance standards.
- Translate board-level strategy into measurable operational results, with a focus on sustainable growth across the cluster.
- Ensure financial discipline, budget accountability, and cost control, with demonstrable commercial acumen.
Requirements
- 8+ years senior operational leadership experience within luxury hospitality, safari, or eco-tourism environments.
- Proven track record managing multi-property / multi-site operations with consistent delivery of exceptional luxury guest experiences.
- Strong commercial awareness, financial oversight, budget accountability, and cost control experience.
