Job Description
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that power data-driven decision-making across the organisation. You’ll work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure seamless data flow, enabling high-impact insights and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and architectures using GCP technologies such as Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage
- Develop and manage robust ETL processes to transform raw data into clean, structured datasets
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that enable insights
- Create and maintain clear documentation for data pipelines, architectures, and data models
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure minimal disruption
- Optimise data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Automate workflows and processes to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all systems
- Stay up to date with emerging GCP tools, best practices, and data engineering trends
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and BigQuery
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven expertise in ETL development and data modelling
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
