Job Summary
A leading software development company in South Africa that takes pride in their speciality of mobile development, cloud enablement, and business consulting is looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join their team
In this role you will responsible for developing scripts to automate visualisations, designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance, implementing integrations requested by customers, performing root cause analysis for production errors, investigating and resolving technical issues, building tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience and developing software to integrate with internal back-end systems.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant IT Degree
- ITIL certification at foundation level is preferable
- At least 2+ years` development experience (Java / C# / Golang / NodeJS / etc.)
- Hands-on cloud or Kubernetes experience (has either run production workloads on cloud or K8s and/ or set up K8s cluster / AWS accounts in own capacity)
- Experience with implementing monitoring (implemented health endpoints, metric endpoints, canaries, etc. in production
- Can install DevOps dependencies into Maven, NMP, PIP, NuGet
- Has configured ArgoCD, Octopus Deploy, etc. for production deployments
