??? ??????????? ??????????? is partnering with an internationally hospitality group to appoint a seasoned and experienced French speaking ???????? ?? ??????? for the pre-opening of an internationally branded hotel in Benin. This is a key Executive Committee appointment requiring a finance professional who combines strategic perspective with disciplined operational control. The successful candidate will establish and lead the hotels full financial function, ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, structured reporting, and commercial accountability from pre-opening through to stabilised operations. Working closely with the General Manager, ownership representatives, and regional leadership, the Director of Finance will oversee pre-opening financial planning, capital expenditure management, implementation of systems and controls, and alignment with international brand standards while ensuring compliance with local legislation. The role calls for sound judgement, cultural awareness, and the ability to operate effectively within a Francophone West African market. This opportunity will suit a commercially astute and solutions driven finance executive who is motivated by establishing strong financial foundations and contributing to the successful launch of a flagship international property in West Africa Requirements Minimum 5 years senior finance leadership experience within internationally branded hotels Proven involvement in at least one hotel pre-opening project Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field essential Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent strongly preferred Fluency in both French and English is non negotiable Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and cash flow management Demonstrated ability to implement internal controls, audit readiness, and governance structures Experience managing CAPEX, procurement oversight, and contractual financial review Solid understanding of statutory compliance and tax regulations, preferably within West Africa Advanced proficiency in hotel financial systems, ERP platforms, and procurement systems Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful commercial insight Salary – On Application Benefits.
