Hotel Duty Manager | Luxury Property Group | Camps Bay

Salary: R18,000 R28,000 (DOE)
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a confident and experienced Hotel Duty Manager for a luxury property group based in Camps Bay. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and is passionate about delivering seamless five-star service.
The successful candidate will take ownership of daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth coordination across departments including breakfast service, housekeeping, maintenance, and front-of-house functions, while leading teams across rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments
- Manage breakfast service and ensure exceptional guest dining experience
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance teams for smooth operations
- Lead and supervise staff across multiple shifts
- Ensure guest requests and issues are handled efficiently and professionally
- Maintain high service standards across all touchpoints
- Support operational reporting and daily handovers
- Ensure consistent communication between departments
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in hospitality
- Strong operational hotel knowledge
- Semper PMS experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Calm, composed, and professional under pressure
- Warm, guest-focused approach with firm and fair team management style
