Job Description
They are seeking a hands-on and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee all vehicle and generator maintenance, workshop operations, and fleet logistics across the reserve and lodges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full oversight of fleet management and mechanical workshop.
- Ensure all game drive and operational vehicles are maintained to the highest standard.
- Manage generator servicing and performance.
- Monitor fuel usage and implement efficiency systems.
- Oversee workshop staff, budgeting, stock control, and safety compliance.
- Maintain all licensing, insurance, and service documentation.
- Ensure operational excellence that contributes to a world-class guest experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Formal mechanical qualification/training is required & must have a completed trade test.
- 5+ years mechanical experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Valid unendorsed driver’s license and passport.
- Must have proficiency in Excel, Word, and workshop administration.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle pressure.
