About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our family-run Game Lodge in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the lodge, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with our management team to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage game lodge operations during duty hours
- Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with assistant manager and other staff members to maintain a high level of service quality
- Implement and enforce safety and security protocols as required
- Perform administrative tasks, including maintenance of records and reports
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid first aid level 1 certification
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft office programs, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Completed matric (or equivalent)
- Relevant formal education or certifications may be an asset but not required
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R10,000 per month.
