About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Game Lodge Manager to lead our team at our lodge in the Hluhluwe area of KZN North. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and experience managing a 4/5* game lodge. Zulu speaking is an advantage, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all departments of the lodge to ensure optimal operations
  • Lead the team and set the example for excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement effective labor practices and HR procedures
  • Ensure compliance with South African Labor Laws and Health and Safety Act requirements

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Formal hospitality qualification
  • At least 2 – 4 years’ experience in a 4/5* Game Lodge
  • Good Operational knowledge of all departments
  • Knowledge and understanding of South African Labor Laws
  • Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety act and requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of good labor practices and HR procedures
