About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Game Ranger to join our team at Perfect Placement Recruitment. As a Game Ranger, you will be responsible for providing unforgettable and educational safari experiences for our guests while ensuring their safety and well-being. If you have a strong passion for wildlife, conservation, and exceptional interpersonal skills, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guests with an unforgettable and educational safari experience
- Conduct guided game drives and nature experiences
- Ensure the safety of both wildlife and guests at all times
- Share knowledge of fauna, flora, and conservation practices
- Maintain vehicle and equipment in good working condition
- Work collaboratively with lodge and guiding team to ensure excellent guest experience
Requirements
- FGASA Level 1, 2, or 3 qualification required
- Valid PDP and Code 10 drivers license
- Trails Guide qualification advantageous (not essential for all positions)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Neat, well-presented appearance
- Strong ability to work within a team environment
- Passion for wildlife, conservation, and guest experience
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this position.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 per month. Live-in position with accommodation provided.
