About the Role

Eden Medical Admin & Financial Clerk is a key role that requires an administrative professional with medical industry experience to provide excellent support to our team. As a Medical Admin & Financial Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our office and providing exceptional service to patients, suppliers, and medical aids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office and Front Desk administration
  • Liaise with patients and suppliers
  • Follow up on orders with suppliers
  • Creditors: Creditors handling, company accounts such as pharmacies
  • Batching supplier invoices
  • Recons Debtors: Billing / Invoicing Statements
  • Collecting payments
  • Checking that claims have been submitted properly
  • Checking that claims have reached the responsible parties by contacting Medical aids
  • Patients 3rd parties Credits / reversals
  • Recons
  • Provide admin support
  • Diary management
  • Book care plans
  • Ordering supplies
  • Updating prices
  • Crisis management

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Candidates with medical industry experience will get preference
  • Experience dealing with medical aids is a big plus
  • Must be good with figures and be accurate
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be a confident person
  • Must be able to work with confidential information and act accordingly
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be fully computer literate and proficient in Excel
  • Must be efficient and have good time management skills
  • Must have contactable references
