About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to join our luxury private game reserve in the Eastern Cape. As a natural host and confident leader, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences across multiple lodge and exclusive-use villa settings. With a focus on understated elegance and immersive safari experiences, this intimate high-end property attracts discerning local and international guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily hospitality operations across the lodge
  • Train and develop front-of-house and hosting team members
  • Ensure seamless, personalised, and consistently exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure
  • Manage guest preferences, special requests, and service recovery with confidence
  • Coordinate dining experiences, special events, and bush dining in conjunction with the kitchen team
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management
  • Maintain and uphold luxury service standards across all touchpoints
  • Liaise with guides, management, and support teams to ensure smooth operational flow
  • Host agents, VIPs, and media guests as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ hospitality management experience within a luxury lodge environment
  • Relevant hospitality qualification (advantageous)
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a guest-facing team
  • Strong F&B knowledge and hosting skills
  • Experience with reservations, guest administration, and lodge management systems
  • Sound understanding of financial controls and stock management
  • Excellent English communication skills (additional languages advantageous)

Qualifications

  • Valid South African driver’s license

Requirements
