About the Role
The President Hotel is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Concierge to join our team in Bantry Bay, Cape Town. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital role in shaping the guest experience through thoughtful recommendations, seamless travel arrangements, and warm hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist guests with airport transfers, shuttle services, tours, excursions, and car hire arrangements
- Provide personalised recommendations, itineraries, and destination advice
- Liaise with tour operators, transport providers, and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage all bookings, confirmations, amendments, and cancellations efficiently
- Handle guest enquiries via email, telephone, and in person in a warm and professional manner
- Ensure all bookings are accurately captured and communicated to relevant departments
- Maintain clear records, reports, and daily handovers
- Resolve guest concerns promptly, ensuring effective service recovery
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hotel travel desk, concierge, or front office role
- Experience working in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of Cape Town attractions, tours, and transport logistics
- Excellent communication skills with a professional, guest-focused approach
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and hotel systems
