Key Responsibilities

  • Create a tidy, clean, neat, and safe environment for hotel guests and staff.
  • Assist with a wide variety of housekeeping tasks as required by the business.
  • Uphold the company’s image.
  • Assist Room Attendants with moving furniture to complete their daily tasks (e.g. lifting beds for vacuuming underneath).
  • Perform scheduled housekeeping, deep cleaning, and high cleaning tasks (e.g. air vents, showerheads, bathroom glass panels, windows).
  • Clean and upkeep various public spaces around guest bedrooms (e.g. passages, pantries, fire escapes, guest room balconies/patios).

Requirements

  • Matric Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Strong physical health.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Ability to follow through on actions in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
