About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our luxury safari lodge in Kruger National Park. As a senior HR leader, you will be responsible for driving strategic human resources management, staff development, and organisational culture within our unique live-in environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on training, compliance, performance management, and employee wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learning & Development: Deliver and enhance the Lodge Training & Development Programme
  • Collaborate with external training providers and facilitators
  • Conduct skills gap analyses and contribute to long-term training strategy
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor annual training programmes within budget
  • Develop internal learning resources and knowledge-sharing systems
  • Coordinate in-person, online, and outsourced training initiatives

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Skills Development, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years HR management experience, ideally in hospitality or lodge operations
  • Strong knowledge of HR legislation and employee relations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Strategic mindset with strong focus on staff development and performance management
