About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is on the lookout for a dynamic, experienced Lodge Manager (or Management Couple) to take the reins at a stunning luxury safari lodge in the Greater Kruger region. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate hospitality professionals who thrive in the bush, love guest interaction, and can seamlessly lead a high-performing lodge team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily lodge operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Lead, motivate, and manage all lodge departments with confidence and care
  • Maintain high service standards across front-of-house, housekeeping, food & beverage, and guiding teams
  • Manage budgets, stock control, and operational reporting
  • Ensure smooth guest flow from arrival to departure, delivering a seamless safari experience
  • Handle guest relations, feedback, and special requests with professionalism
  • Support staff development, training, and team cohesion
  • Work closely with guiding teams (where applicable in a couple setup) to enhance guest experiences

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Lodge Manager or senior hospitality management role within a luxury safari environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams
  • Excellent guest relation and communication abilities
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and solutions-driven approach
  • Strong operational and financial acumen
  • For couples: one partner must ideally be a qualified Guide with FGASA or equivalent experience
  • Passion for wildlife, conservation, and luxury hospitality
