About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to join our luxury lodge located within the Kruger National Park. As a live-in role, we’re looking for a hands-on hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a remote, high-end safari environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards at all times
- Lead, train, and motivate the lodge team
- Oversee departmental operations including front of house, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guiding where applicable
- Manage budgets, stock control, procurement, and cost management
- Maintain lodge standards, maintenance coordination, and health & safety compliance
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests and handle guest feedback professionally
- Work closely with ownership and head office to achieve operational and service goals
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lodge Manager or Senior Lodge Management role within a luxury safari lodge environment
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities
- Financial acumen and experience managing lodge budgets
- Ability to work under pressure in a remote setting
- High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Hospitality Management or related field
