This live-in role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a remote, high-end safari environment. ✨ Role Overview: • Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the lodge • Ensure exceptional guest service standards at all times • Lead, train, and motivate the lodge team • ️ Oversee departmental operations including front of house, housekeeping, food & beverage, and guiding where applicable • Manage budgets, stock control, procurement, and cost management • ️ Maintain lodge standards, coordinate maintenance, and ensure health & safety compliance • Act as the primary point of contact for guests and handle feedback professionally • Work closely with ownership and head office to achieve operational and service goals Requirements: • Proven experience as a Lodge Manager or in a senior lodge management role within a luxury safari lodge • ️ Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills • Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities • Financial acumen and experience managing lodge budgets • ⏱️ Ability to work under pressure in a remote setting • ⭐ High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence Package: • Negotiable salary, dependent on experience • Live-in position • Opportunity to work in one of South Africa’s most iconic safari destinations
