About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to join our remote bush environment, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems independently in a remote location
- Lead and manage maintenance teams effectively
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal facility performance
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge across general building maintenance disciplines
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems independently in a remote location
- Good leadership, organisational, and planning skills
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies
Qualifications
- Minimum of 35 years experience in a maintenance role
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
- Trade qualification (electrician, plumber, carpenter, or similar) advantageous
- Basic knowledge of generators and water treatment systems preferred
Salary & Benefits
- Three weeks on, 7 days off
- 5% Provident does not form part of CTC package (compulsory membership)
- Uniform and food provided
