About the Role
A well-established company in the FMCG industry is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join their growing Institute. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the facility, managing workshop and spare parts, and maintaining compliance with food safety, HACCP, and OHS regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Physical maintenance work to be conducted
- Day to day maintenance in and around the factory
- Planned maintenance as per maintenance matrix
- Unplanned maintenance and breakdowns
- Management of workshop and spare parts
- Complying with food safety, HACCP, and OHS regulations
- Being a member of the food safety team
- Maintenance logs and general admin
Requirements
- Qualified artisan, preferably a millwright
- Excellent technical and mechanical skills
- Competent in general electrical work and fault finding
- Good planning and communication skills
- Ability to manage workshop and spare parts
- Honest and trustworthy
- Willingness to work every second weekend and extended hours from time to time
- Excellent computing and recordkeeping skills
