About the Role
We are seeking a Management Couple for a renowned luxury game lodge located in the Welgevonden Game Reserve. The ideal candidate will be a couple with a passion for hospitality, conservation, and remote lodge life, looking to take on new challenges and immerse themselves in nature.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee guest experience and front-of-house operations
- Manage check-ins, hosting duties, and daily guest liaison
- Supervise housekeeping and dining service standards
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and lodge admin
- Support training and motivation of lodge team
- Oversee general lodge maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and structural tasks
- Maintain vehicles, generators, water systems, and infrastructure
- Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Ensure lodge grounds and buildings are well-kept and operational
- Assist with logistics and back-of-house tasks when needed
Requirements
- Prior experience working as a management couple in a game lodge or remote hospitality environment
- Strong people skills, leadership qualities, and a hands-on attitude
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication abilities
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage under pressure
- Proficient computer skills and understanding of lodge systems (advantageous)
- Valid drivers licenses (PDP advantageous)
