Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the clearing and forwarding sector
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and needs analysis
- Prepare and present tailored logistics solutions, quotes, and proposals
- Negotiate rates and service agreements in line with company margins
- Work closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and reporting
- Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments
Minimum Requirements
- 5–6 years’ proven experience in new business sales within clearing and forwarding / freight forwarding
- Strong understanding of import, export, customs clearance, and logistics services
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
