About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PLC/SCADA Engineer to join our team in The Netherlands. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for configuring and implementing automation systems for our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Configure PLC/SCADA software based on functional designs.
- Test and validate software in lab environments and at client sites.
- Commission software and automation systems at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot automation systems and optimise performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide training and support to customers on automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation.
- 3+ years’ experience in PLC/SCADA programming and implementation.
- Solid knowledge of Siemens PCS7, SCADA systems, and industrial networks (Profibus/Profinet).
- Strong affinity with industrial automation environments.
- Hands-on, practical approach with strong teamwork ability.
- Flexible and solution-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: €3,000 – €5,000 gross/month (depending on experience). 25 paid holidays + 8.33% holiday allowance. Pension scheme included. Relocation package (housing support, documentation assistance, relocation budget).
