Apex, located in Seychelles is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Representative to join our team. The Retail Sales Representative will provide outstanding customer service and meet sales quotas to achieve the stores sales goals. They will ensure a positive shopping experience for customers by understanding their needs, offering knowledgeable advice on products, and maintaining the stores appearance.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The role involves direct customer interaction, achieving sales targets through product knowledge and upselling, maintaining the store’s appearance, and collaborating with the team.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs.
• Offer expert advice on products and services.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a courteous manner.
• Process transactions accurately, including cash handling of debts due

SALES:

• Achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Demonstrate and explain merchandise to customers to boost sales.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Participate in promotional activities and campaigns.

STORE MAINTENANCE:

• Ensure the store is well-stocked.
• Assist in merchandising, display setup, and stock management.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to the management.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:

• Stay updated on the latest product features and benefits.
• Enhance product knowledge
• Share feedback from customers with the team to improve product offerings.

TEAM COLLABORATION:

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Provide support to new staff members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• The position requires a school leaver certificate with Maths.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (sales, marketing, etc.),
• 2-3 years of retail sales experience (FMCG preferred).
• Experience with SKYNAMO and SYSPRO is a plus.
• A valid passport & drivers license. Ability to drive a scooter.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Your police character certificate.
