About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join our team at Wild Dreams Hospitality. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our properties and engaging with international and local clients to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Focused on growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Develops and maintains good relationships with key clients, tour operators, travel agents and DMC’s.
  • Assists with the research and establishment of a sales plan to increase revenue, bednights and ADR for properties.
  • Prepares and delivers compelling sales presentations.
  • Provides customer training.
  • Comfortably handles the full sale cycle from cold calling to confirmation of booking.
  • Conducts contract negotiation, implementation and administration.
  • Ensures contracts are renewed for existing clientele.
  • Cross sells properties within the Kaelo Destinations Portfolio to increase revenue and grow market share.
  • Utilizes an integrated approach and effective communication with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally to improve service offering.
  • Manages accounts and develops a clear understanding of each client’s requirements to retain and grow business.
  • Hosts site inspections, FAM trips where necessary.
  • Participates in relevant trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Provides customer presentations and training online and in person.
  • Works collaboratively with all stakeholders.
  • Assists with administration tasks.
  • Utilizes CRM tools or filing systems to retain information and grow understanding of database.
  • Updates/maintains all database/contact lists.
  • Prepares reports on competitors, trends and sales activities and monitors results monthly, as well as on request. Assists with preparing reports for the board.

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in working with Tour Operators, DMC’s, Travel Agents.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and Vehicle.
  • Valid passport.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally when required.
  • Good understanding of budgeting and ability to work within set budgets.
  • Excellent computer literacy. Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Recognized Sales Qualification is ideal.
  • Database of clients.
  • Strategic analytical and data driven approach.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Interpersonal competencies and presentation skills.
  • Results oriented and able to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Efficient in time management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders to achieve service and departmental goals.
