About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Broker Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our broker support, you will be responsible for driving business growth and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and follow up on leads like a friendly-but-persistent detective.
- Book advisor appointments that turn into actual business.
- Drive annual and bi-annual client review schedules using Google Calendar.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities before the advisor even finishes their sentence.
- Keep the XPlan pipeline pristine.
- Manage KYC/FICA compliance with accuracy and precision.
- Process amendments, switches, transfers, and policy changes without error.
- Prepare client documents to high standards of organisation.
- Ensure all files meet FAIS, FICA, POPIA, and TCF standards.
Requirements
- 35 years of experience in a financial planning / insurance / investment support environment.
- XPlan experience (non-negotiable).
- Strong understanding of FAIS, FICA, POPIA, and TCF regulations.
- Confident with client engagement, including outbound calling.
- Obsessed with accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a structured, target-driven environment.
Qualifications
Matric required. RE5 or relevant Wealth Management qualification beneficial but not essential.
